HMH-772, known as the Hustlers, is a United States Marine Corps Reserve heavy helicopter squadron operating the CH-53E Super Stallion out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, under Marine Aircraft Group 49 and the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron traces its lineage to April 1958, when it was first activated at the Marine Air Reserve Training Command at Naval Air Station Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Over more than six decades, the Hustlers have built a record that stands apart from most reserve units. They were the first reserve squadron to earn the special operations capable designator and the first unit in the Marine Corps to airlift the M777A2 lightweight howitzer in combat.
