Official Coast Guard Cutter Paul Clark PVC Patch — USCGC Paul Clark (WPC-1106) PVC Patch
Semper Paratus—USCGC Paul Clark, a Sentinel-class fast response cutter protecting America's maritime borders and saving lives at sea.
USCGC Paul Clark (WPC-1106) is a Sentinel-class fast response cutter of the United States Coast Guard—one of the newest and most capable classes of patrol vessels in the Coast Guard fleet. The Sentinel class was designed by Damen Group and built by Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport, Louisiana, to replace the aging 110-foot Island-class patrol boats that had served the Coast Guard since the 1980s. At 154 feet in length with a top speed exceeding 28 knots, the Sentinel class provides a significant improvement in range, endurance, speed, and habitability over its predecessor.
The cutter is named in honor of a fallen Coast Guardsman, continuing the service's tradition of honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Sentinel-class cutters carry a crew of approximately 24 and are equipped with a stabilized 25mm Mk 38 main gun, four .50-caliber machine guns, and an over-the-horizon pursuit boat that enables the crew to conduct boardings, search and rescue, and law enforcement operations in even the most challenging sea states. The vessel's C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) suite provides modern situational awareness capability.
USCGC Paul Clark conducts the Coast Guard's core missions of maritime law enforcement, drug and migrant interdiction, fisheries enforcement, search and rescue, and defense readiness along America's coastline and in offshore waters. The Sentinel class has proven itself as a versatile and reliable platform, deploying to the Eastern Pacific, the Caribbean, and the Gulf of Mexico to intercept drug smuggling vessels, rescue mariners in distress, and enforce federal maritime law.
Perfect For: USCGC Paul Clark crew members and veterans, U.S. Coast Guard cuttermen, Sentinel-class fast response cutter community members, Department of Homeland Security maritime professionals, and supporters of the United States Coast Guard.
