The MP Corps' mission encompasses law enforcement, criminal investigations, physical security, and combat support operations including area security, maneuver and mobility support, and internment and resettlement operations. Army MPs have earned a reputation for versatility and toughness, operating in the space between conventional combat forces and civilian populations where the rules are complex and the stakes are high.
