The squadron's Marines operate approach control, ground control, and departure services, managing the complex air traffic patterns of one of the Marine Corps' busiest aviation installations. MATCS-28 also provides expeditionary air traffic control capability, deploying with portable ATC systems to establish air traffic services at forward airfields and expeditionary airstrips.
