The Wolverines of MALS-29 are the fierce logistics force behind the War Eagles of MAG-29. Every Super Stallion that lifts off, every Viper that launches ordnance, and every Venom that inserts Marines — MALS-29 made it happen. This officially licensed patch represents the maintenance and logistics Marines who keep MAG-29's combat power at its peak.
MALS-29 provides aviation logistics support to MAG-29's diverse fleet at MCAS New River, including CH-53E Super Stallions, AH-1Z Vipers, and UH-1Y Venoms. The Wolverines deliver intermediate-level maintenance, avionics repair, aviation supply, and ordnance support to one of the most operationally active Marine Aircraft Groups on the East Coast. The squadron deploys alongside MAG-29 units worldwide, providing the logistics backbone for Marine Expeditionary Unit aviation combat elements and combat deployments.
