Officially Licensed US Navy HSM-46 Grand Masters Patch — Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 46 MH-60R Seahawk Embroidered Patch

The Grand Masters — East Coast Romeo crews hunting submarines from the decks of destroyers and cruisers.

Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 46 (HSM-46), the "Grand Masters," operates the MH-60R Seahawk from NAS Mayport, Florida. HSM-46 provides helicopter detachments to surface combatants — destroyers, cruisers, and frigates — placing MH-60R crews aboard warships where they conduct anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, and surveillance operations as an organic extension of the ship's combat capability.

The MH-60R Seahawk is the Navy's primary anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare helicopter, equipped with dipping sonar, sonobuoys, Hellfire missiles, torpedoes, and an advanced integrated sensor suite that makes it the most capable maritime strike helicopter in the world. HSM-46's Grand Masters deploy their detachments aboard ships across the Atlantic Fleet, where each two-aircraft det operates semi-independently under the tactical control of the ship's commanding officer. The Grand Masters' crews are among the most self-reliant aviators in the Navy, operating far from their home base with limited maintenance support, making tactical decisions in real time, and serving as the ship's eyes, ears, and striking arm against submarine and surface threats.

Perfect For:
HSM-46 Grand Masters personnel and veterans, MH-60R Seahawk aircrew, NAS Mayport aviators, surface combatant helicopter det community, and US Navy maritime strike squadron patch collectors.

Grand Masters. Romeo on the deck.
