Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 43 (HSL-43), the Battle Cats, was a U.S. Navy LAMPS Mk III squadron operating the SH-60B Seahawk from the West Coast. HSL-43 deployed detachments aboard Pacific Fleet cruisers, destroyers, and frigates, providing anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, and search and rescue capabilities.
