Officially Licensed US Navy HS-4 Black Knights Patch — Pacific Helicopter Legends

The Black Knights of HS-4 were Pacific helicopter royalty, flying Sea Kings off carrier decks for decades.

Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 4 (HS-4), the Black Knights, was a U.S. Navy helicopter squadron that operated the H-3 Sea King as part of Pacific Fleet carrier air wings. HS-4 provided anti-submarine warfare, combat search and rescue, and utility transport from the decks of nuclear aircraft carriers throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The Black Knights were known for their operational excellence and were among the most experienced Sea King squadrons in the Navy. Their legacy continues through the helicopter sea combat and maritime strike communities that inherited their Pacific mission.

Perfect For: HS-4 Black Knights veterans, H-3 Sea King aircrew, Pacific Fleet carrier air wing members, ASW community historians, and Navy helicopter heritage patch collectors.

Black Knights — Pacific helicopter legends.
