Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 169 (HMLA-169) and Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462 (HMH-462) deployed a combined detachment to Chile in 2018 for Operation Blue Torch. This bilateral exercise strengthened the partnership between the US Marine Corps and Chilean military.
