HMH-466 Marlboro Warhorse PVC Shoulder Patch - Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 Wolfpack CH-53E Super Stallion PVC Shoulder Patch, MAG-16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Miramar.

Wolfpack heavy lift identity, decades of combat-proven Super Stallion operations, and Marine assault support pride captured in one durable PVC shoulder patch.

Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 was commissioned on 30 November 1984 as the Marine Corps' third CH-53E Super Stallion squadron, assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 16 at MCAS Tustin before relocating to MCAS Miramar. Flying the largest and heaviest helicopter in the Marine Corps inventory, the Wolfpack built a record defined by firsts: the first CH-53E squadron to deploy to Saudi Arabia when Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, and the first to conduct a Night Vision Goggle troop insertion during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. The squadron went on to accumulate combat flight hours across Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, participating in over 175 named operations during a single Afghanistan deployment alone. That operational depth, combined with multiple McCutcheon Awards for Heavy Lift Squadron of the Year and a Presidential Unit Citation, gives the Marlboro Warhorse patch a lineage that collectors and veterans recognize immediately. The PVC construction holds color and detail through field conditions, making it equally at home on a flight-line bag, a tactical vest, a patch panel, or a shadow box display alongside challenge coins and deployment memorabilia.

Perfect For: HMH-466 veterans and alumni, CH-53E Super Stallion aircrew and maintainers, MAG-16 and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing collectors, Marine heavy helicopter enthusiasts, Desert Storm and OEF deployment keepsakes, shadow box builds, patch panel displays, reunion gifts, and family members honoring a Marine who flew or maintained the Super Stallion. It also suits serious military aviation collectors building a complete West Coast heavy helicopter lineage alongside MAG-16, MCAS Miramar, and Marine Expeditionary Unit memorabilia.

Wolfpack lineage, Marlboro Warhorse identity, built for the board and the shadow box that honors every flight hour earned.
