Fleet Marine Force, Pacific (FMF PAC) is the Marine Corps component of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, representing the largest concentration of Marine combat power in the world. FMF PAC exercises administrative control over all Marine forces assigned to the Pacific theater, including the I and III Marine Expeditionary Forces and their subordinate divisions, aircraft wings, and logistics groups. From the bloody beaches of Iwo Jima and Okinawa to modern-day deterrence operations across the Indo-Pacific, FMF PAC has been the tip of America's spear in the world's largest ocean. This patch represents the organizational backbone of Marine power projection in the Pacific.
