Officially Licensed USMC FMF Corpsman — Iraq Patch — Embroidered Patch
Doc in the Stack
From the initial push to Baghdad to the house-to-house fighting in Fallujah and Ramadi, FMF Corpsmen were in the stack with their Marines — treating casualties under fire, running through IED-littered streets, and keeping wounded warriors alive in the chaos of urban combat. This patch honors every Navy Corpsman who earned their FMF pin in the crucible of Iraq.
The Iraq War placed FMF Corpsmen in some of the most intense urban combat since Vietnam. During the Second Battle of Fallujah in November 2004, Corpsmen operated under constant sniper fire and IED threats, performing emergency trauma care in buildings still being cleared by Marine infantry. In Ramadi, Hit, and Haditha, they braved the same dangers as every Marine rifleman while carrying the additional burden of being the squad's lifeline. These Corpsmen were trained in Tactical Combat Casualty Care and understood that getting a casualty stabilized within the golden hour dramatically improved survival chances. Their bravery in Iraq continued the proud tradition of FMF Corpsmen earning the trust and love of every Marine they served alongside.
Perfect For:
Iraq-era FMF Corpsmen, OIF veterans, Marine infantry veterans, combat medical personnel, Navy-Marine Corps team collectors, and Gold Star families
In the stack. Under fire. Saving lives. That's Doc.
