UH-1 Afghanistan Ribbon Patch — Bell UH-1 Huey OEF Service Ribbon Embroidered Patch
UH-1 Afghanistan — the Huey in the mountains of Operation Enduring Freedom, paired with the Afghanistan campaign ribbon.
The UH-1N Twin Huey and later the UH-1Y Venom served Marine Corps units during Operation Enduring Freedom. Marine Huey crews provided utility transport, command and control, and armed escort across Afghanistan's rugged terrain — from the desert lowlands of Helmand Province to the mountain passes of eastern Afghanistan. The transition from the UH-1N to the UH-1Y Venom during the Afghan campaign gave HMLA squadrons dramatically improved capability. This ribbon patch combines the Afghanistan campaign service ribbon with the Huey.
Perfect For:
UH-1N and UH-1Y OEF veterans, Marine light attack helicopter squadron Afghanistan veterans, Huey aircrew, Afghanistan campaign ribbon collectors, and OEF aviation patch collectors.
