UH-1 Afghanistan Patch — Bell UH-1 Huey Operation Enduring Freedom Embroidered Patch

UH-1 Afghanistan — the Huey in the mountains of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The UH-1N Twin Huey and later the UH-1Y Venom served Marine Corps units during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Marine Huey crews provided utility transport, command and control, and armed escort missions across Afghanistan's rugged terrain — from the desert lowlands of Helmand Province to the mountain passes of eastern Afghanistan. The transition from the UH-1N to the UH-1Y Venom during the Afghan campaign gave Marine light attack helicopter squadrons dramatically improved capability. This patch commemorates the Huey community's OEF service.

Perfect For:
UH-1N and UH-1Y OEF veterans, Marine light attack helicopter squadron Afghanistan veterans, Huey pilots and aircrew, GWOT helicopter community, and Operation Enduring Freedom aviation patch collectors.

UH-1 Afghanistan. Huey in the mountains.
