USS Nassau (LHA-4) was a Tarawa-class amphibious assault ship commissioned in 1979. The ship deployed Marine Expeditionary Units throughout the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Persian Gulf, participating in Operation Desert Storm, peacekeeping operations, and humanitarian missions. Nassau was decommissioned in 2011.
