Royal Marines Commando 45 Condor Camp Patch — Embroidered Patch
45 Commando — RM Condor, Arbroath
From the frozen mountains of Norway to the burning sands of Helmand Province, 45 Commando Royal Marines have answered the call from their base at RM Condor in Arbroath, Scotland, for over five decades. This patch represents one of the most battle-tested commando units in the British Armed Forces — a battalion that has deployed to every major conflict zone since the Second World War.
45 Commando was formed in 1943 from the original 5th Battalion and served with distinction throughout World War II. After 24 years of continuous operational service abroad — including Palestine, Suez, Malaya, Aden, and Cyprus — the unit moved to RM Condor in Arbroath in 1971. Since then, 45 Commando has alternated between Northern Ireland tours, Arctic warfare training in Norway, and combat deployments to the Falklands, Iraq, and Afghanistan. During the 1982 Falklands War, 45 Commando famously "yomped" across East Falkland and fought the decisive Battle of Two Sisters. The unit deployed multiple times to Afghanistan's Helmand Province, operating in Sangin and the Upper Sangin Valley.
Perfect For: 45 Commando veterans and serving personnel, RM Condor community members, Falklands War and Afghanistan veterans, Royal Marines families, and supporters of Britain's commando forces.
From Arbroath to the ends of the earth — 45 Commando.
