The Marine Corps Engineer School trains the combat engineers who build, breach, and demolish in support of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force. This officially licensed patch represents the school that produces the engineers who keep Marines moving.
The Marine Corps Engineer School (MCES) provides professional military education and technical training for Marine combat engineers, explosive ordnance disposal technicians, and utility specialists. The school trains Marines in demolitions, mine warfare, obstacle emplacement and reduction, construction, and utilities operations. MCES graduates serve as the combat engineers who clear minefields, build bridges, fortify positions, and provide the engineering support that enables the MAGTF to fight and win.
