NAS Atlantic City served Naval aviation along the New Jersey coastline, providing reserve and active duty aviation operations from the shores of the Atlantic. This officially licensed patch represents the sailors who served at this coastal installation.
Naval Air Station Atlantic City, located in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, served the Navy and its reserve aviation community near the famous Jersey Shore. The station hosted reserve patrol and fighter squadrons and supported Naval aviation training and operations along the Mid-Atlantic coast. The facility continues to serve military aviation as part of the joint use agreement with what is now the Atlantic City International Airport.
