USMC 1st Raider Battalion Patch — USMC Embroidered Patch
1st Marine Raider Battalion — MARSOC
From the Force Recon Marines who formed its backbone to the Critical Skills Operators who carry its legacy today, 1st Marine Raider Battalion is one of three elite combat battalions that make up the Marine Raider Regiment. This patch carries the identity of the battalion aligned to the Indo-Pacific — the most consequential theater of the 21st century.
1st Marine Raider Battalion (1st MRB) is a special operations force of the United States Marine Corps and a subordinate combat component of MARSOC. The battalion's organization was finalized in 2006 when Marine Corps Special Operations Command was created at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, with the majority of its combat personnel drawn from the Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance community. 1st MRB is based at Camp Pendleton, California, and is aligned to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. The battalion consists of four companies, each containing four fourteen-man Marine Special Operations Teams (MSOTs). Raiders are trained in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, and counterterrorism. The battalion deployed to Afghanistan beginning in 2009 and has since conducted operations across the Indo-Pacific region, maintaining forward presence and building partnerships with allied special operations forces.
Perfect For: 1st MRB Raiders, MARSOC personnel, Camp Pendleton special operators, Force Recon alumni, and anyone who respects the Marines who operate in the shadows of the Pacific.
1st Marine Raider Battalion — silent, deadly, forward.
