USMC VMM-365 Blue Knights 2025 Squadron Patch — Embroidered Patch

Blue Knights — VMM-365's Legacy Takes Flight

The Blue Knights of VMM-365 have been flying into harm's way since the Vietnam War, and this 2025 squadron patch represents the latest chapter of one of the Marine Corps' most storied tiltrotor squadrons.

Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (VMM-365) is based at MCAS New River, North Carolina, under Marine Aircraft Group 26 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, flying the MV-22B Osprey. Originally established as HMM-365 on 1 July 1963 at MCAF Santa Ana, California, the Blue Knights flew UH-34Ds into Vietnam in October 1964, taking their first combat casualties within weeks of arrival. The squadron built a distinguished Cold War record that included Operation Eastern Exit — the dramatic 1991 evacuation of the American Embassy in Mogadishu, Somalia — and Operation Silver Wake, evacuating 851 nationals from Albania. In 2009, VMM-365 became the fastest Osprey squadron to achieve combat readiness, deploying to Afghanistan's Helmand Province where they were engaged by enemy fire 26 times. The Blue Knights' legacy spans Vietnam, Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan — always carrying Marines into the fight.

Perfect For:
VMM-365 aircrew and maintainers, MV-22 Osprey enthusiasts, MCAS New River Marines, MAG-26 personnel, 2nd MAW veterans, MEU veterans, and anyone who rides with the Blue Knights.

Blue Knights — carrying Marines into the fight since 1963.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.
