Officially Licensed USMC HMH-772 Hustlers Johnstown Liberty Bell Sticker — The Reserve Squadron That Answered Every Call
The Hustlers didn't wait to be asked twice. When the Marine Corps needed heavy lift, HMH-772 was already spinning rotors.
Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 772 (HMH-772) — the 'Hustlers' — is one of the most distinguished reserve squadrons in the United States Marine Corps, flying the CH-53E Super Stallion under Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing. Activated on April 15, 1958, as Helicopter Transport Squadron 772 (HMR-772) at NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, the Hustlers have answered every call the Marine Corps has made for over six decades. As a reserve squadron, HMH-772 has repeatedly mobilized for combat operations, including Operation Desert Storm in 1991, where they flew CH-53A aircraft and supported Operation Fiery Vigil and Operation Sea Angel. After 9/11, the Hustlers became the first reserve squadron to receive the Special Operations Capable designation. In 2009, they deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Khanjar — the largest movement of Marines since Vietnam — and became the first unit to airlift the M777A2 howitzer in combat. This Johnstown Liberty Bell sticker combines the Hustlers' identity with their Pennsylvania heritage, connecting the squadron to the historic roots of the region they call home. It's a sticker for Marines who served with one of the most battle-tested reserve units in the Corps.
Perfect For: HMH-772 Hustlers Marines past and present, CH-53E Super Stallion community members, MAG-49 and 4th MAW reserve Marines, Pennsylvania-based Marines, and anyone who served with the Hustlers.
