Official VMM-263 Thunder Chickens Miami Vice REIN Patches

The Thunder Chickens go REIN with a Miami Vice twist — because when you're the first operational Osprey squadron, you've earned the right to have fun with it.

VMM-263 "Thunder Chickens" made history in 2006 as the Marine Corps' first operational MV-22B Osprey squadron, and in 2007 became the first to deploy the Osprey to combat in Iraq. Based at MCAS New River under MAG-26, 2nd MAW, the Thunder Chickens have served in Vietnam, the Dominican Republic, Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In the REIN configuration, VMM-263 deploys as the Aviation Combat Element of a Marine Expeditionary Unit — augmented with attack, heavy-lift, and utility aircraft. This Miami Vice-themed variant adds retro flair to the reinforced mission.

Perfect For:
VMM-263 Thunder Chickens Marines, MAG-26 and 2nd MAW personnel, MV-22 Osprey enthusiasts, MEU aviation element deployers, and morale patch collectors.

First Osprey squadron. Still setting the pace.
