HMLAT-303 Avionics Qual — Embroidered Patch
Wired for Combat
Behind every Viper and Venom launch, there's an avionics Marine who made it happen. This HMLAT-303 Avionics Qual patch represents the specialized technicians who keep the H-1 platform's complex systems mission-ready — the Marines who ensure every sensor, display, weapons system, and communication suite works flawlessly when lives depend on it.
HMLAT-303, the Atlas, is the Marine Corps' H-1 Fleet Replacement Squadron based at MCAS Camp Pendleton under MAG-39 and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron trains all new AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom pilots, crew chiefs, and maintainers for the entire Marine Corps. Earning an avionics qualification within HMLAT-303 means demonstrating mastery of some of the most sophisticated aircraft systems in the rotary wing fleet — from the Target Sight System and helmet-mounted displays to the integrated defensive electronic countermeasures suite. These Marines are the backbone that keeps Marine light attack aviation lethal and ready.
Perfect For:
HMLAT-303 avionics technicians, H-1 community maintainers, AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom crew, MAG-39 Marines, and Marine aviation maintenance personnel.
Keeping the H-1 Lethal.
