HMH-465 "Warhorses" is a Marine heavy helicopter squadron operating the CH-53E Super Stallion from MCAS Miramar, California, under Marine Aircraft Group 16 (MAG-16). The Warhorses provide heavy-lift helicopter capability for the I Marine Expeditionary Force, transporting troops, vehicles, and supplies that no other helicopter can carry. This Halloween morale patch captures the seasonal spirit and camaraderie within one of the Marine Corps' most demanding aviation communities. The CH-53E Super Stallion is the heaviest and most powerful helicopter in the U.S. military inventory.
