This embroidered patch represents Marine Helicopter Training Squadron 204 (HMT-204), the White Knights. HMT-204 served as the fleet replacement squadron for the CH-46 Sea Knight, training new Marine helicopter pilots on the Phrog before they headed to operational squadrons. The White Knights produced every CH-46 pilot in the Marine Corps, making HMT-204 the foundation of the Marine medium helicopter community. With the CH-46's retirement and the transition to the MV-22 Osprey, HMT-204's legacy represents an entire era of Marine rotary-wing aviation training.
