Officially Licensed HMMT-301 Windwalkers Patch — USMC Marine Medium Helicopter Training Squadron Embroidered Patch
The Windwalkers — where Marine CH-46 pilots learned to fly the Phrog.
HMMT-301 "Windwalkers" was the Marine Corps' Fleet Replacement Squadron for the CH-46 Sea Knight, responsible for training every Marine pilot who would fly the Phrog in the fleet. Based at MCAS Tustin and later MCAS New River, HMMT-301 took newly winged aviators through the CH-46 training syllabus, producing combat-ready medium helicopter pilots for decades. When the Marine Corps transitioned to the MV-22B Osprey, HMMT-301's training mission was absorbed by VMMT-204.
Perfect For:
HMMT-301 Windwalkers alumni, CH-46 Sea Knight training pipeline graduates, Marine helicopter FRS instructors, and USMC training squadron legacy patch collectors.
