HMM-265 "Dragons" operated the CH-46E Sea Knight from MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, under MAG-24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. This standard patch captures the Dragons' primary insignia from their CH-46 era, before the transition to the MV-22B Osprey and redesignation as VMM-265.
