HMM-262 "Flying Tigers" was a Marine medium helicopter squadron that operated the CH-46 Sea Knight. The Flying Tigers name has been carried by multiple units in Marine aviation, and HMM-262's version added the medium helicopter perspective to the legacy. The squadron served across multiple deployments and contributed to the Marine Corps' assault support capability during the CH-46 era.
