HMM-165 "White Knights" flew the CH-46E Sea Knight for over 50 years, deploying to Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Somalia, East Timor, Afghanistan, and Iraq before transitioning to the MV-22B Osprey as VMM-165. This patch variant captures a different period in the White Knights' long history of CH-46 operations.
