Officially Licensed USMC HMLA-369 Gunfighters Friday Patch — Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 Friday Embroidered Patch
Friday means it's time to let the Gunfighters loose.
Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369 (HMLA-369) "Gunfighters" is one of the United States Marine Corps' premier light attack helicopter squadrons, based at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California. This special Friday patch is the squadron's beloved end-of-week morale design — a tradition in Marine aviation where squadrons create unique, often humorous or stylized patches worn on Fridays to celebrate surviving another week of the demanding operational tempo that defines HMLA life.
HMLA-369 operates the AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter and UH-1Y Venom utility helicopter, forming a lethal and versatile team that provides close air support, armed escort, armed reconnaissance, and command and control capabilities to Marine ground forces. The Gunfighters have deployed extensively throughout the Global War on Terror, supporting operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and special purpose MAGTF deployments across the globe. Assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 39 (MAG-39) and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, HMLA-369 maintains a constant state of readiness to deploy with Marine Expeditionary Units and other task forces.
The Friday patch tradition reflects the tight-knit culture of Marine helicopter squadrons — where hard work, camaraderie, and a well-earned sense of humor go hand in hand.
Perfect For: HMLA-369 Gunfighters veterans, Marine helicopter crew members, Friday patch collectors, and USMC light attack aviation enthusiasts.
Gunfighters don't quit — especially on Fridays.
