Officially Licensed USMC HML-267 Squadron Patch — Marine Light Helicopter Squadron Legacy Embroidered Patch
Before the Stingers flew Cobras and Hueys together — HML-267 was a pure light utility helicopter squadron.
HML-267 was one of the Marine Corps' light helicopter squadrons operating the UH-1 Huey in the utility role before the HMLA consolidation. Light helicopter squadrons provided assault support, command and control, medical evacuation, troop transport, and forward air control for Marine ground forces. HML-267 was based at MCAS Camp Pendleton under MAG-39 and served during a transitional period in Marine aviation when the Corps was evolving its light helicopter force structure from separate light (HML), attack (HMA), and observation (VMO) squadrons into the combined light attack (HMLA) model used today. This patch preserves the HML-267 identity from that era.
Perfect For:
HML-267 veterans, UH-1 Huey crew members, HMLA-267 Stingers alumni, Marine light helicopter historians, and USMC legacy squadron patch collectors.
