HMH-463 "Pegasus" operates the CH-53E Super Stallion from Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, under MAG-24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. Pegasus is the Pacific heavy-lift force, providing the CH-53E capability for III Marine Expeditionary Force operations across the Indo-Pacific theater. The squadron regularly deploys aboard amphibious ships and to forward operating locations throughout the Western Pacific, supporting exercises and contingency operations from Japan to Australia.
