Officially Licensed USMC HMH-463 Pegasus Desert Storm Patch — Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron Operation Desert Storm Embroidered Patch

Pegasus in the desert — HMH-463 during Operation Desert Storm.

HMH-463 "Pegasus" deployed to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990-1991, providing CH-53 heavy-lift support for I Marine Expeditionary Force during the liberation of Kuwait. In the vast, featureless desert, the CH-53's heavy-lift capability was essential for moving artillery, vehicles, ammunition, and supplies across enormous distances as Marine forces advanced into Kuwait. The desert environment was brutally hard on helicopters — sand ingestion, extreme heat, and vast distances tested both machines and crews to their limits.

Perfect For:
HMH-463 Pegasus Desert Storm veterans, CH-53 Gulf War crews, Operation Desert Shield/Storm Marines, and USMC combat deployment patch collectors.

Pegasus. Desert Storm. Heavy lift in the sand.
