Officially Licensed USMC VMFA-314 Black Knights Patch — Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314 Embroidered Patch

The Black Knights — over eight decades of Marine fighter aviation from Corsairs to the F-35C Lightning II.

VMFA-314 "Black Knights" is one of the most storied fighter attack squadrons in the Marine Corps, commissioned on October 1, 1943, as VMF-314. The Black Knights saw combat in World War II flying the F4U Corsair in the Pacific and returned to action during the Korean War. The squadron transitioned through the F-9 Panther, FJ Fury, and F-4 Phantom II before adopting the F/A-18 Hornet. VMFA-314 deployed extensively during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, flying combat missions over Afghanistan and Iraq. Based at MCAS Miramar, California, the Black Knights have been selected for transition to the F-35C Lightning II, the carrier-variant of the Joint Strike Fighter.

Perfect For:
VMFA-314 Black Knights veterans, F-35C Lightning II community, MCAS Miramar personnel, legacy Corsair and Phantom collectors, OIF/OEF veterans, and USMC fighter attack squadron patch collectors.

Black Knights. VMFA-314. Fifth generation.
