MCAS Beaufort — USMC Embroidered Patch
Home of Marine Strike Fighters
MCAS Beaufort is where Marine strike fighter aviation lives on the East Coast. From F/A-18 Hornets to F-35B Lightning IIs, the cutting edge of Marine Corps combat aviation calls Beaufort home. This officially licensed patch represents the Marines who serve at the birthplace of Marine stealth aviation.
Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, located in Beaufort, South Carolina, is the primary East Coast base for Marine Corps strike fighter operations. The air station hosts Marine Aircraft Group 31, which operates F/A-18 Hornets and the F-35B Lightning II — the Marine Corps' fifth-generation stealth fighter. MCAS Beaufort has been at the forefront of the Marine Corps' transition to the F-35B, training the pilots and maintainers who will fly and sustain the Corps' most advanced combat aircraft for decades to come.
Perfect For:
MCAS Beaufort veterans and active duty Marines, MAG-31 personnel, F-35B and F/A-18 community members, and East Coast Marine aviation collectors.
