The Naval Air Technical Training Center at Memphis, Tennessee, provided foundational and advanced technical training for aviation maintenance ratings. Sailors and Marines attended specialized courses in avionics, airframes, powerplants, and other aviation technical fields before reporting to their fleet squadrons. NATTC Memphis was a critical pipeline in producing the technically skilled workforce that Naval Aviation depends on.
