NAS South Weymouth — USN Embroidered Patch
New England's Navy Air Station
NAS South Weymouth served the New England military community for decades, providing reserve aviation training and operations from the outskirts of Boston. This officially licensed patch represents the sailors and Marines who served at this important reserve aviation installation.

The station hosted multiple reserve patrol, transport, and helicopter squadrons, and was a vital part of the Navy's reserve aviation capability on the East Coast. NAS South Weymouth also played an important role during World War II as a training facility for Naval aviators heading to the Pacific theater.
