MCAS Yuma Crash Crew — USMC Embroidered Patch

First on Scene

The Crash Crew at MCAS Yuma is the first to respond when things go wrong on the flight line or runway. In the blazing Arizona heat, these Marines stand ready to pull pilots from burning wreckage and save lives. This officially licensed patch represents the aircraft rescue and firefighting professionals of MCAS Yuma.

The Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) crew at MCAS Yuma, known as the Crash Crew, provides 24/7 emergency response for one of the Marine Corps' busiest aviation training installations. Working in extreme desert heat with temperatures regularly exceeding 115°F, these Marines operate specialized crash rescue vehicles and firefighting equipment to respond to aircraft emergencies, fuel spills, and structural fires. The Crash Crew ensures that the intense training tempo at Yuma can be sustained safely.

Perfect For:
MCAS Yuma ARFF/Crash Crew veterans, Marine aviation firefighters, CFR (Crash Fire Rescue) professionals, and military firefighting patch collectors.
