The 4th Recruit Training Battalion at MCRD Parris Island conducts recruit training as part of the depot's training regiment, producing basically trained Marines through the demanding 13-week program. The battalion's Drill Instructors maintain the traditions and standards that have defined Marine recruit training for over a century.
