The 3rd Recruit Training Battalion at MCRD Parris Island conducts recruit training for one of the depot's training battalions, taking civilians through the complete 13-week transformation process that produces Marines. From initial processing through the Crucible, the battalion's Drill Instructors instill the discipline, values, and warrior ethos that define every Marine.
