Officially Licensed MALS-36 Bladerunners Patches — Keeping the Wing Flying from Okinawa

Because the aircraft don't maintain themselves, and the parts don't just show up on their own.

MALS-36, the Bladerunners, is the aviation logistics backbone of Marine Aircraft Group 36, based at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, under the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing. The Bladerunners provide intermediate-level maintenance, supply support, and munitions logistics for every flying squadron in MAG-36 — keeping Ospreys, helicopters, and everything else in the air across the Indo-Pacific. With a history stretching back to the Vietnam War (operating from Ky Ha and Phu Bai from 1965 to 1969), MALS-36 has supported combat and humanitarian operations from the Philippines to Somalia to East Timor to Iraq. Every flight hour logged by a MAG-36 aircraft has a Bladerunner wrench-turner behind it.

Perfect For: MALS-36 Bladerunners Marines past and present, MAG-36 and 1st MAW support personnel, Okinawa-based aviation maintainers, and anyone who kept the parts flowing so the flyers could fly.

No logistics, no aviation. Bladerunners keep the blades running.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.

If the product is officially licensed, it will say “Officially Licensed” in the title and/or in the product details. If it doesn’t, it’s still a legitimate product—just not part of a licensed program.

Yes. If you see a note like “bulk reruns available,” that means we can support group orders or reruns. If you don’t see it, contact us with the unit/squadron and quantity and we’ll confirm options.
