Officially Licensed US Navy VT-7 Eagles Patch — Training Squadron 7 T-45C Goshawk Embroidered Patch
Screaming Eagles — VT-7 trains the Navy's jet pilots.
Training Squadron 7 (VT-7), the "Eagles," is a United States Navy advanced jet training squadron operating the T-45C Goshawk at NAS Meridian, Mississippi. Under the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA), VT-7 provides advanced strike pilot training to student naval aviators and student naval flight officers who have been selected for the tactical jet pipeline. The Eagles are responsible for teaching the advanced skills that prepare students for fleet replacement training in the F/A-18 Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, and F-35C Lightning II.
The T-45C Goshawk is a carrier-capable advanced jet trainer that introduces students to the high-performance flying that defines tactical jet aviation — including formation flying, tactical navigation, air combat maneuvering, and the ultimate test: carrier qualification. VT-7's instructor pilots are experienced fleet tactical jet aviators who return to the training command to pass on their knowledge and develop the next generation of Navy and Marine Corps fighter and attack pilots. This officially licensed patch represents the proud tradition of producing carrier-capable jet pilots at VT-7.
Perfect For: VT-7 Eagles instructor pilots and alumni, student naval aviators who trained with VT-7, T-45C Goshawk community members, CNATRA advanced jet training personnel, NAS Meridian veterans, and military training squadron patch collectors.
Eagles train the tip of the spear — VT-7 makes jet pilots.
