Officially Licensed US Navy VFA-106 Gladiators Patch — East Coast Strike Fighter Forge

The Gladiators don't just train pilots — they forge the strike fighter aviators who defend the fleet from carrier decks.

Strike Fighter Squadron 106 (VFA-106), the Gladiators, is the U.S. Navy's East Coast Fleet Replacement Squadron for the F/A-18 Hornet and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. This embroidered patch represents the Gladiators' critical role in the Navy's strike fighter training pipeline. Based at NAS Oceana and NAS Lemoore, VFA-106 takes newly winged aviators and transforms them into combat-ready fighter pilots through an intensive syllabus covering air-to-air combat, air-to-ground weapons delivery, carrier qualification, and tactical employment. Every East Coast Hornet and Rhino driver in the fleet is a Gladiator graduate.

Perfect For: VFA-106 Gladiators instructors and graduates, Super Hornet and Hornet students, East Coast FRS personnel, carrier air wing aviators, and Navy strike fighter patch collectors.

Forged by the Gladiators, ready for the fleet.
