Official Houston Fleet Week Patch - Inaugural Fleet Week Houston 2026 U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Commemorative Embroidered Patch.
Texas history, sea service pride, and the first Fleet Week on the Gulf Coast, all stitched into one emblem worth keeping.
Fleet Week Houston made history on April 15-22, 2026, as the first Fleet Week ever hosted by a Texas city and a centerpiece of America 250, the nationwide celebration of the United States' 250th anniversary. The U.S. Navy, in partnership with the City of Houston and the Port of Houston, brought more than 1,000 Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen to the Houston Ship Channel for a full week of ship tours, community events, aviation exhibits, and public ceremonies. Vessels including USS Kearsarge (LHD-3), a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, USS Minneapolis-St. Paul (LCS-21), USS Cooperstown (LCS-23), and USCGC Edgar Culbertson (WPC-1137) docked along the channel and opened their decks to the public. The week kicked off with a Parade of Ships through Galveston and a flag-raising ceremony at Houston City Hall, where Marines carried the Fleet Week flag through downtown to Allen's Landing, the historic site of Houston's founding. The event showcased Houston's deep maritime identity as a global port city and gave the broader community a rare, direct connection to the people and ships behind America's sea services. This embroidered patch marks that milestone, capturing the spirit of a week that brought the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard to the heart of Texas for the very first time.
Perfect For: Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard veterans, active-duty service members who participated in Fleet Week Houston 2026, Houston Ship Channel and Port of Houston supporters, America 250 commemorative collectors, USS Kearsarge crew and alumni, Texas military history enthusiasts, shadow box and display board builders, reunion keepsakes, and anyone who attended or followed the inaugural event and wants a lasting emblem of the first Fleet Week in Texas history. It also makes a meaningful gift for families, civic supporters, and sea service advocates who followed the week's ceremonies, ship tours, and community outreach across Greater Houston.
