Official VT-6 Shooters Shoulder Patch — Ready, Aim, Qualify
The Shooters don't miss — and neither will their students.
VT-6 "Shooters" is a Training Squadron operating out of NAS Pensacola, Florida, as part of the Naval Air Training Command. The Shooters are responsible for training the next generation of Naval Aviators through the primary flight training pipeline, building the foundational skills that every Navy and Marine Corps pilot needs before advancing to more specialized training tracks. From basic contact flying and aerobatics to instrument procedures and formation work, the Shooters take students who've never touched a military aircraft and transform them into competent aviators ready for the advanced syllabus. The training squadron community is one of the most underappreciated in naval aviation — without squadrons like VT-6, there would be no fleet pilots, no carrier aviators, and no naval aviation as we know it. This shoulder patch represents the instructors and students who make it all happen.
Perfect For: VT-6 Shooters alumni and instructors, student naval aviators, NAS Pensacola training command personnel, naval flight training community, and anyone who remembers their first military flight.
VT-6 Shooters — taking aim at excellence, one student at a time.
