VP-741 was a U.S. Navy patrol squadron that operated the Martin P-5 Marlin flying boat during the Korean War era, conducting maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, and ocean surveillance missions. The Marlin was one of the last operational flying boats in the Navy's inventory, and VP-741's crews flew long-range patrols over vast stretches of open ocean. This officially licensed reproduction captures the squadron's original insignia — the alligator with bomb design.
