Officially Licensed US Navy A-4 Skyhawk Commemorative Sticker — Douglas A-4 Skyhawk Attack Aircraft Vinyl Sticker

Heinemann's Hot Rod — the little attack jet that could do everything.

The A-4 Skyhawk commemorative sticker celebrates one of the most iconic and versatile attack aircraft in naval aviation history. Designed by Ed Heinemann of Douglas Aircraft, the A-4 was conceived as a lightweight, simple, and affordable alternative to the increasingly complex and expensive jet aircraft of the 1950s. Heinemann delivered an aircraft that came in under the Navy's maximum weight specification by half — earning the Skyhawk its legendary "Heinemann's Hot Rod" nickname and proving that a small, agile, and reliable attack jet could outperform platforms twice its size and cost.

The A-4 Skyhawk served with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps from 1956 through the 1990s, flying combat missions in Vietnam and serving as the Navy's primary adversary training aircraft at Top Gun and fleet composite squadrons. The Skyhawk's combination of speed, maneuverability, and bomb-carrying capacity made it the backbone of Navy and Marine attack aviation for decades. A-4s also served with the air forces of Israel, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and several other nations, seeing combat in the Six-Day War, Yom Kippur War, and the Falklands War. No other attack aircraft has served in as many air forces or seen combat in as many conflicts.

Perfect For:
A-4 Skyhawk pilots and maintainers, Navy and Marine attack aviation veterans, Top Gun adversary community, naval aviation historians, and anyone who appreciates the legendary Scooter.

Heinemann's Hot Rod. The legendary Scooter.
