Official VFA-103 Jolly Rogers F-18 Shoulder Patch — US Navy Strike Fighter Squadron Embroidered Patch
The skull and crossbones — the most feared insignia in naval aviation. The Jolly Rogers don't just fly fighters. They own the airspace.
VFA-103 "Jolly Rogers" is one of the most famous fighter squadrons in the United States Navy, carrying the iconic skull and crossbones that have struck fear into adversaries since the squadron adopted the insignia. The Jolly Rogers lineage traces through some of the most decorated fighter units in naval history, including VF-17 — the original World War II "Jolly Rogers" who flew F4U Corsairs in the Solomon Islands under the command of Lieutenant Commander Tom Blackburn, scoring 154 aerial victories. VFA-103 inherited the Jolly Rogers legacy and currently operates the F/A-18F Super Hornet from NAS Oceana, Virginia, deploying with Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) aboard USS Abraham Lincoln. The Jolly Rogers have seen combat in every major conflict since their inception, including Desert Storm, Operation Allied Force over Kosovo (where they flew the first Navy combat missions of the campaign), Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and sustained operations against ISIS.
Perfect For:
VFA-103 Jolly Rogers past and present, F/A-18 Super Hornet aircrew, CVW-7 personnel, Navy fighter aviation enthusiasts, and anyone who respects the skull and crossbones.
Jolly Rogers. Fear the skull.
