Officially Licensed USMC VMFAT-501 Warlords Squadron Patch — The F-35 Begins Here

The Warlords are writing the first chapter of Marine Corps fifth-generation fighter history — one Lightning pilot at a time.

Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501 (VMFAT-501), the Warlords, is the Marine Corps' Fleet Replacement Squadron for the F-35B Lightning II, based at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina. VMFAT-501 is responsible for training every Marine F-35B pilot before they join operational squadrons, making the Warlords the gateway to the Marine Corps' future of tactical aviation. The F-35B's short takeoff and vertical landing capability is transforming how the Marines fight from amphibious assault ships and expeditionary airfields. The Warlords carry the enormous responsibility of building the Corps' fifth-generation fighter force from the ground up.

Perfect For: VMFAT-501 instructors and students, F-35B Lightning II enthusiasts, Marine fighter pilots, MCAS Beaufort personnel, and fifth-gen aviation collectors.

The future of Marine aviation starts with the Warlords.

Size is shown on the product page and updates with the variant you select (example: 3"). If you’re mounting on a hat or small panel, choose smaller sizes; for plate carriers and display boards, larger sizes fit better.

If the product is officially licensed, it will say “Officially Licensed” in the title and/or in the product details. If it doesn’t, it’s still a legitimate product—just not part of a licensed program.
