Official USMC MV-22 Osprey Demonstration Team patch.
The world's only tiltrotor demo team — Marines, Ospreys, air shows.
The USMC MV-22 Osprey Demonstration Team is the United States Marine Corps' tiltrotor flight demonstration team, performing at major air shows across the country to showcase the unique capabilities of the Bell Boeing MV-22B Osprey — the world's only operational tiltrotor aircraft and the assault support backbone of the modern Marine Air-Ground Task Force. The Osprey takes off and lands like a helicopter, transitions to forward flight like a turboprop, and gives the MAGTF the speed, range, and payload to project force from the sea or expeditionary airfields anywhere on the globe. The demo team's annual show schedule includes marquee venues like the MCAS Cherry Point Air Show, MCAS Miramar Air Show, the Pacific Airshow at Huntington Beach, Thunder Over Michigan, the Milwaukee Air & Water Show, the Oregon International Air Show, and the Tampa Bay Gasparilla Air Invasion — flying the kind of aggressive, low-altitude tiltrotor demonstration that no other aircraft on earth can match. The team draws aircraft, pilots, and maintainers from Marine Medium Tiltrotor squadrons (the VMM community) under the 2nd and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wings, with strong representation from MCAS New River, MCAS Miramar, and MCAS Futenma. This patch is a tribute to every Osprey aircrew who shows up at oh-dark-thirty to ground-handle, fuel, and demo the Marine Corps' assault support workhorse for the public.
Perfect For: USMC MV-22 Osprey Demonstration Team pilots, aircrew, and maintainers, VMM squadron Marines, MCAS New River and MCAS Miramar personnel, 2nd and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing aviators, Marine Air-Ground Task Force assault support enthusiasts, and air show collectors.
